Utility Organizations
This page's main function is to link utility providers to sites. A linked utility is the default bill type for sites.
The following information displays in a smart table:

Type: The organization type

Name: The utility organization name, or the entity using the organization type

Select an organization to view/update it. Click New to create a new utility organization.

Utility Org Exclusion Calendar
This panel allows users to filter their work as not to have to see all sites or options. If a user only needs to update associations for emissions purposes, they can click on the drop down filter int he black bar area and select Emissions associations and click on the Define Local Filter button. This will only display the available fields to association Electric, Natural Gas, and Propane for sites. If the user intends to associate both emissions and non-emissions utility providers then thy can leave the filter at the Billing associations level.
One the user has the view they want, they just need to click on the desired sites check boxes and click on the Group Action button. This allows multiple sites to be changed at one time, however a single site can also be selected.
At this point a user can either remove or add associations with a site for any type of Utility. To add or change a Utility provider, just make sure the Create or Change radio button is enabled and then click on the magnifying glass of the Utility type that is to be changed. The user will be present with the available Utility providers to select from. If a new provider is required and it is no available in the pick list, please contact Verisae support and they can assist in the process of setting a new provider up. Upon selecting the new provider, click on the save button and the new provider will be associated to the sites.
If a user just wants to remove a utility provider association, they would click on the radio button for Remove and then a check box series of Utility provider types will appear. By selecting one or more types and clicking save, the system will remove all specified association for the sites selected.
Other Notes
If a user is replacing one provider with another, they are not required to remove and then add, as a change will work just fine.
